Rossana Sharghi, MA, RP
Hello, I’m Rossana.
I’m a Registered Psychotherapist in North York, working with children, teens, adults, and families. I offer in-person appointments and virtual sessions across Ontario.
I believe that feeling understood can create room to explore difficult experiences with more curiosity and less judgment. That belief shapes how I listen and how we work together.

My approach
We can explore what is happening now alongside the experiences and relationships that give it meaning. My approach combines emotional exploration with practical ways of responding, shaped around your needs and feedback.
I draw on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), emotion-focused and attachment-based approaches, Play Therapy, and Art Therapy. When words feel limiting, art, music, or gentle movement may offer another way to explore an experience—if that feels comfortable and useful to you.
Culture, belonging, and relationships
I bring a sensitivity to life between cultures: the effort of adapting, questions of belonging, and the experience of holding more than one way of seeing the world.
In our sessions, I make room for how language, family expectations, and experiences of adapting may shape what feels easy or difficult to express. We can explore belonging, changing roles, closeness, and boundaries without assuming there is one right way to experience them.
Making space for what you feel
For me, Rumi’s guest house captures something essential about therapy: making room for your feelings with curiosity and care.
